The PowerVault NF600 enables IT environments of any size to quickly deploy file sharing and other essential services. It can be set up anywhere on an Ethernet network in as little as 15 minutes and managed remotely from any Windows desktop through a convenient administrative console.

Flexible and Versatile
The Dell PowerEdge NF600 NAS is built with flexibility in mind. You can choose from tower or 5U rack chassis options with hot-plug SAS or SATA hard drives and several optical devices and tape products, for up to 10TB of internal storage.

The PowerVault NF600 NAS appliance offers customers the choice of drive technology; SAS or SATA. Serial-Attached SCSI (SAS) hard drives deliver the next generation of SCSI performance and reliability for critical business applications, while SATA drives provide affordable storage for large amounts of information.

Simplify and Streamline File Management
The PowerVault NF600 network attached storage solution is optimized for storing and sharing files and comes pre-loaded with advanced features enabling highly efficient data storage and protection in IT environments with one or more locations. Distributed File System (DFS) provides a central point on the network for storing and sharing files. Users simply map a network connection to one or more folders on the server, and then files can be stored and accessed from the desktop. Additionally, the PowerVault NF600 comes with Single Instance Store (SIS), software that allows you to eliminate the duplicate copies of files across the network. By eliminating the duplicate files you create additional capacity on the system, all without effecting the user experience.
