The PS7000C MKII is a fast and convenient solution for scanning books and magazines, ledger volumes, archival documents, legal and financial records, artwork, sheet music, maps, graphics and 3D objects. And face-up scanning protects bindings and fragile pages by eliminating the need to lift, rotate or readjust the original: for multi-page scans, just turn the page.

The PS7000C MKII provides support for Windows® 2000, Windows XP and Windows Vista® environments. Built-in interface also lets you add an optional Scan Vending Device for public-access scanning and printing. Only Konica Minolta delivers such a comprehensive, easy-to-use system for scanning, sharing, saving and printing.

* Fast color scanning speed of 9.9 seconds or less; large scan area from 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" to 18" x 24" accommodates 2-page spreads, art books, large ledgers and records.

* Built-in book cradle with that adjusts to fit the spines of bound books and ledgers, with left/right mobile sections that can be pressed down under the thicker side of the book to create a leveled surface.

* Scans 3D objects up to 2" high, allowing you to make sharp color scans of jewelry, historical artifacts, coins and other collectibles.

* Automatically compensates for page curvature at the center spine when bound volumes do not lie flat, masks borders, erases shadows and eliminates the images of fingers that may be holding pages open.

Features

Face-up scanning. When you work with the PS7000C MKII, the original sits face-up -- so you can see at a glance that your positioning is correct. Face-up scanning also protects bindings and reduces the need for handling, because you can scan multiple pages of books or magazines by just turning the pages.

Built-in book cradle. The PS7000C MKII features a book cradle center section that adjusts to fit the spines of bound books and ledgers -- no need to push down pages and strain bindings. Its left and right mobile sections can be pressed down under the thicker side of the book to create a leveled surface.

Scan 3D objects. You will also be able to make sharp color scans of three-dimensional objects up to 2" high -- such as small collectibles, historical objects, jewelry, coins and other important artifacts.

Oversized scanning. With scanning area from 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" to 18" x 24," you can scan 2-page spreads, large ledgers and records, archival volumes, art books and graphics.

Fast scanning and printing. You can scan a 2-page color spread in as little as 9.9 seconds -- and high-speed USB 2.0 interface provides easy connectivity.

Clean, crisp resolution. You will have 24-bit color, 8-bit grayscale, 1-bit B&W imaging for superb reproduction of complex originals -- with output resolution up to 600 dpi.

Versatile mode selection. You can scan in book mode, sheet mode and 3D mode -- along with spread, single left, single right and split modes for maximum flexibility from a single system.

Vending interface. The PS7000C MKII is compatible with 3rd-party coin and card vending solutions, allowing end-users to pay directly for the scans and prints they make.
