MPEG IMX Studio Editing Recorder. Highest level MPEG-2 4:2:2 Profile@Main Level recording at 50Mbps, I frame only . 8-bit, 4:2:2 digital component recording (SMPTE D-10 format). Compact 4 RU height. Can play back Betacam/SP, Betacam SX and MPEG IMX tapes. Supports input/output bit rates of 30, 40 and 50 Mbps with built-in SDTI-CP interface. Features pre-read, dynamic motion control, and records 8 Audio channels at 16- bits/channel, or 4 Audio Channels at 24-bits/channel.Audio sample frequency is 48 KHz. All audio channels can be independently edited in either mode. Can transfer D-10 stream at 2x real time over SDTI-CP (as a standard feature), and has Metadata capacity of 255 bytes/frame. Video interfaces include SDI, SDTI, Component and Composite analog, all standard. Audio interfaces include embedded audio in SDI bitstream, AES/EBU, and analog, all standard. Machine control via RS 422 and 232, standard. Can accept BKMW-E2000 "e-VTR" optional interface board, which allows transfer of video and audio over IP networks.
