Hitachi's CP-X256 3LCD projector brings a new level of functionality to educators with a brightness of 2,000 ANSI lumens at a light weight of 7.2 pounds. The networking capability of the CP-X256 allows for remote monitoring of multiple projectors from a single point. All projectors can be connected over the same network via the CP-X256's RJ-45 LAN port. Additionally, the CP-X256 boasts an "e-Shot" feature that enables up to four electronic images to be recalled or displayed using the projector's remote control, Hitachi's PJCtrl or PJMan applications.

The CP-X256 offers XGA resolution and a 500:1 contrast ratio. The CP-X256 boasts a manual 1:1.2 zoom, along with full connectivity including standard video connections and RS-232 control. The CP-X256 also 3LCD projector offers easy maintenance features including a top-door lamp. Additionally, the CP-X256 offers proprietary features including My Screen, My Memory and My Button, with advanced security functions such as a transition detector, Kensington lock and PIN lock protection.
