Mitsubishi Diamond 16 MAX-M Web Presses

The Diamond 16 MAX-M produces 16-page signatures at the operational design speed up to 1,800 feet per minute. The press utilizes metal-backed blankets and incorporates mini-gap technology in both the plate and blanket cylinders. Mini-gap and metal-backed technologies enable the press to meet the optimum printed image requirements.

The mini-gap design also improves print quality. It virtually eliminates any gap streaks that can occur with a standard web press.

The shaftless design relies on the synchronized control of high-precision motors, resulting in significantly lower power consumption, quieter press operation, faster makeready times and simpler press maintenance. It contributes to greater stability during high-speed operation.
