HP Scitex FB6700 Flatbed industrial digital inkjet press

The HP Scitex FB6700 flatbed industrial digital inkjet press brings the advantages of digital processes to rigid-media printing. The FB6700 prints directly to rigid sheets up to 160cm x 320cm (63" x 126") and up to 20mm (0.79") thick, and enables high-quality cost-effective short runs for POP applications and short-run production, including test marketing, product launches, promotional campaigns, creative packaging, and 3D displays. Using a 6-color drop-on-demand piezoelectric inkjet printing process, and water-based pigmented inks that are fast-drying, abrasion-resistant and waterproof, the HP Scitex FB6700 prints at true 600 dpi with throughput of up to 150 m2/hr (1,614 sqft/hr).

Fully automated workflow
Flatbed industrial digital inkjet press equipped with:

• Fully automatic printing process, from loading, through printing and drying to unloading — loader, digital press, dryer and unloader — allowing high productivity with only one operator.
• Built-in automatic print head maintenance unit — enables continuous production at stable output quality.
• Optional inline laminator for automated production of laminated displays.

Dedicated inks
HP Scitex WB300 Supreme inks developed for best performance, and perfectly fit Aprion® print heads

• Environment-friendly, water-based pigmented inks. Very wide gamut, with offset-like rigid colors.
• Odorless, non-flammable, and non-toxic — simplifies storage issues and safeguarding users.
• Resistant to UV, abrasion and water — ensuring long-lasting color.
• Flexible — will not crack when folded or bent.

Inline laminator
Now, you can extend this high productivity and quality through to the finishing process by adding a high-quality inline laminator. The inline laminator is a specially customized version of GBC's market-proven professional series lamination unit. It is available as an optional module on new installations of the HP Scitex FB6700 or as an upgrade to existing installed systems.
