The V6000T features the latest Intel Core Duo processor and Mobile Intel 945 Express chipset family. When configured Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network Connection (optional), you can connect to most available industry-standard base wireless LAN (802.11b, 802.11a, or 802.11g) infrastructures.

This model features HP's high-tech, high-gloss, black resin finish with easy latch-free closure. Plus, you can control the volume and launch buttons by tapping or swiping your finger across a strip on the keyboard.

Songs, snapshots, and video
Watch movies on this model's diagonal 15.4" widescreen with BrightView technology (optional), and immerse yourself in sound with the built-in Altec-Lansing speaker system. The V6000T also has QuickPlay 3.0, which launches DVDs, music, and photos at the touch of a button. An optional remote, which stores in the ExpressCard slot, lets you control QuickPlay from up to 10 feet. You'll easily transfer photos from your digital camera via the optional 5-in-1 digital media card reader, then edit, print, and manage your pictures. If you pick a SuperMulti DVD±RW/R drive, you can turn photos into movies, plus edit video; choose the LightScribe option on the DVD±RW/R drive to laser-etch labels on CDs and DVDs as you create them.

The HP xb3000 Notebook Expansion Base (sold separately) connects your dv6000t to peripherals, including a monitor if you want a desktop experience. You also get integrated 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet1 (RJ-45 connector), three USB 2.0 ports, an ExpressCard/54 slot, an RJ-11, an IEEE 1394 FireWire, an S-Video port, and consumer IR. You also get integrated Intel Pro/Wireless 3945ABG Network, with or without Bluetooth.
