Fujitsu XG2000 Ethernet Switches

Fujitsu builds upon its single chip 10Gb Ethernet solutions with a new 20-port, highly integrated and flexible 1U Switch

High Performance 10Gb Ethernet Layer 2 Switching

* Offers industry-leading low latency in 10Gb Ethernet Switching (300ns latency)
* Delivers 400 Gbps non-blocking throughput performance
* Available as 20-port XFP optical solution or 16 CX4 ports, with 4-port XFP optics in compact 1U form factor
* On-chip 3MB proprietary, multi-stream buffer for full bandwidth performance
* Flexible XFP interfaces (CX4, SR and LR) allow you to build the ideal network architecture for your requirements

Enterprise Server and Storage
Today’s dynamic enterprise server/storage networks demand ultra-fast node-to-node interconnections to support a high bandwidth of data transfer. The Fujitsu XG2000 series provide ultra-low latency switching of 10Gb Ethernets, allowing server/storage architects to build robust and efficient systems with a compact 1U form factor (up to 20 ports) and a flexible network interface (CX4, SR, LR).

High Performance Computing (HPC)
Both ultra-low latency and high-density Ethernet switching are required for successful HPC deployment. The Fujitsu XG series offers industry-leading low fall-through latency of 300ns and a compact form factor, creating an ideal environment for Enterprise HPC deployment. The flexible Fujitsu XG2000C model also features the cost-effectiveness of a CX4 device while allowing for optical connections to departments from up to 10km away.

Video Storage/Servers
Increasing demands created by today’s high definition (HD) video files can be fulfilled using the Fujitsu XG2000 series of switches. With video file transmission, files are typically very large and need to transmit very quickly, at a high bandwidth. And for real-time video stream transmission, extremely low latency is required. Because the Fujitsu switches support up to 15KB jumbo frames with latency of 300ns, the chances of dropped frames are minimal. Further, the 3MB buffer ensures full 20-port utilization without the fear of oversubscription, all all in a compact 1U form factor.
