It uses CDMA2000 EVDO Rev A and 1xRTT (Single Carrier Radio Transmission) Technology that provides data speeds of up to 3.1 Mbps forward EVDO burst rates with average live network downlink rates in the range of 600 to 800 Kbps. It helps increase productivity while maintaining contact with clients, colleagues and family. The card is backwards compatible with EVDO Rev 0 cellular networks, which provide a maximum 2.4 Mbps forward EVDO Burst and an average live network downlink rates in the rage of 300 to 500 Kbps. Its high efficiency compact broadband design provides consistent throughput performance. Moreover, its automatic switching between networks enables fast and secure wireless access to information anytime, anywhere worldwide. This card is designed to work with Verizon wireless network. This product has been tested and validated on Dell systems. It is supported by Dell Technical Support when used with a Dell system.
