Stay connected while on the go with the Wireless 5720 Sprint Mobile Broadband Mini Card from Dell™. It uses EVDO (Evolution, Data Optimized) and 1xRTT(Single Carrier Radio Transmission) Technology. The Dell Wireless 5720 supports EVDO Rev A and is capable of a maximum 3.1Mbps forward EVDO burst rates with average live network downlink rates in the range of 600-800 Kbps. The card is backwardly compatible with EVDO Rev 0 cellular networks which provide a maximum 2.4 Mbps forward EVDO Burst and an average live network downlink rates in the rage of 300-500 Kbps. It helps increase productivity while maintaining contact with clients, colleagues and family. Moreover, its automatic switching between networks enables fast and secure wireless access to information anytime, anywhere worldwide. It also allows you to retrieve location data from GPS satellites, utilize GPS navigation and location-based applications. The cellular network and the service area determine whether the card uses EVDO or 1xRTT technology. It has been tested and validated on Dell systems. It is supported by Dell Technical Support when used with a Dell system.
