Mitsubishi VS-67XLW50U Rear Access Lamp Changer Projection Cube

Mitsubishi's VS-67XLW50U Projection Cube provides an automatic lamp changer to provide additional reliability for your mission critical display wall. The display cube will sense a lamp failure or pre-determined degeneration of brightness and automatically switch to a spare lamp already installed in the light engine. This provides a high level of redundancy with minimal down time of the display cube, displaying an image just 7 seconds after initiating the lamp switch.

This high resolution 67" XGA cube is also designed for 24 hour, 7 day a week operation, displaying your data clearly with Mitsubishi's durable DLP® light engine. The VS-67XLW50U leads the industry in screen brightness and contrast ratio allowing the larger 67" diagonal displays to be better integrated into larger control rooms.

Proprietary Mitsubishi features ensure that the VS-67XLW50U Projection Cube will maintain uniform brightness and color throughout the display wall. Mitsubishi's Dynamic Brightness Balancing™ feature monitors the brightness in each and every VS-67XLW50U Projection Cube, adjusting them individually as required to ensure equal brightness on the display. Smart Lamp™ and Smart Color wheel™ maintain color uniformity on the display wall. Each lamp and color wheel stores its own color characteristics internally, and when either is replaced the function activates, recalibrating the cube into perfect color balance with the display wall.

Installation and service time can be greatly reduced through the optional motorized adjustment tool. It allows remotely operated mechanical adjustments to the image geometry. This time-saving device enables a single technician to make the slightest adjustments to the 6-axis adjuster, creating precise image alignment between the display wall cubes.

Features

Dynamic Brightness Balancing: Each Mitsubishi display wall cube is equipped with a built-in brightness sensor (brightness is measured every 2 seconds). The Dynamic Brightness Balancing™ circuit then communicates the measured brightness data between all cubes and automatically performs the necessary adjustments to maintain optimum brightness uniformity across the entire display wall.
Color Space Control: Mitsubishi developed the powerful Color Space Control feature, a digital color balancing and blending circuit that compensates for color and brightness differences among all of the cubes in a multi-unit configuration.
Smart Lamp: Mitsubishi's exclusive Smart Lamp™ Module in each display wall cube stores its own color characteristics. This data is the utilized when replacing the lamp in one or more cubes within the display wall. Upon replacement, the cube with the new lamp automatically communicates that lamp's data with all other cubes and performs the Color Space Control adjustment to rebalance the entire display wall, saving time and reducing maintenance costs.
Smart Colorwheel: Mitsubishi's exclusive Smart Colorwheel™ Module in each display wall cube stores its own color characteristics. This data is then utilized when replacing the colorwheel in one or more cubes within the display wall. Upon replacement, the cube with the new colorwheel automatically communicates that colorwheel's data with all other cubes and performs the Color Space Control adjustment to rebalance the entire display wall, saving time and reducing maintenance costs.
12 Bit Dither & Gamma Circuit: Developed by Mitsubishi, the 12-bit Dither & Gamma Circuit enables the display of truly natural gradation (gray scale) by accurately rendering both bright and dark areas for precise half-tone images. This circuit also processes frame (time axis) direction to ensure smoother gradation and optimum color fidelity for all images.
Digital Gradation Circuit: Mitsubishi's proprietary Digital Gradation Circuit can elevate the brightness level at the edges of the screenwhere brightness usually fades, in order to ensure the optimum brightness distribution and uniformity over multi-screen tiled configurations.
High Contrast Ratio: The combination of Mitsubishi's original high quality new optical system, super high-contrast screen and 12-degree DLP® chip (with dark metal coating), allow the Mitsubishi Display Wall Cubes to deliver an outstanding contrast ratio of 1600:1 (XGA models) or 1800:1 (SXGA+ models), and reproduce sharp, brilliant images with rich, vibrant colors.
