Leica HI1210 Flattening Table

A flattening bath for paraffin sections with digital display and set value memory to stretch and flatten sectioned tissue specimens for all areas of biomedical research and routine histopathology diagnostics. The Leica HI1210 has a high heating capacity and precise temperature control.

Key Features

* Continuous temperature control up to 70 °C.
* Jet black surface to identify sections
* Broad rim to store microscope slides
* Easy and rapid cleaning

The Leica HI1210 is a rectangular water bath designed with a surface ensuring high thermal conductivity rates and outstanding resistance to mechanical damage owing to its special plastic coating. Temperatures can be selected between ambient temperatures and 70 °C. Programmed as well as current temperatures are shown on a LED display while the selected temperature set value is memorized via a built-in battery backup system. To increase safety and reliability the Leica HI1210 features an overheating protection sytem along with a stand-by mode. The overall design is modern and complementary to the Leica Histology Product Line so that the user can comfortably operate it in most routine applications.

The Leica HI1210 can be used in conjunction with the Leica HI1220 hot plate for drying and stretching glass mounted histology sections. The broad, oversized rim of the water bath allows easy and convenient storage of microscope slides, and in addition the rounded inner corners of the instrument allow it to be cleaned efficiently.
