Canon CXDI-60G Portable Digital Radiography

The CXDI-60G Digital Radiography System features Canon's renowned flat panel technology in a lightweight, ergonomic portable detector.  With the added benefit of low power consumption and a detachable sensor cable for convenient maintenance and installation, Canon's ninth generation flat-panel detector extends Digital Radiography beyond traditional applications to include room-to-room installations, mobile x-ray systems, and more.

Outstanding Diagnostic Image Quality in a Convenient Size
The 9 x 11 inch (23 x 28 cm) imaging area accommodates diverse applications, including examinations of the extremities, skull, shoulder, hip and cervical spine.  Detailed x-ray images can be taken from almost any position and angle.  The patient can comfortably hold the unit in place during capture when necessary.  It's the ideal size for orthopedic departments and mobile x-ray systems, plus general radiology applications that would benefit from easy handling and portability.

Compact and Lightweight
Weighing a mere 5.9 pounds (2.7 kg) and less than an inch thick (22.5 mm), the CXDI-60G offers true portability and versatility for use at diverse patient locations—both in and out of the x-ray room.  The ergonomic detector is comfortable to hold and is as easy to position as a conventional film cassette or CR imaging plate.  Its smooth, rounded edges allow it to easily slide under patients.

LANMIX MLT(S) Image Processing
In addition to Canon's advanced noise reduction processing, MLT(S) image processing utilizes the multiple frequencies within the image data to emphasize edges and display appropriate dynamic range.  Images of extremities, for example, show the subtle details of trabecular bone structure and soft tissue for high diagnostic accuracy.  This process can be preset for repeatability as well as adjusted post-acquisition for variances in diagnostic requirements.

Immediate Results
Preview images are available after exposure and can be immediately transmitted over the hospital network to other workstations, printers, and archives for fast and easy data sharing. Canon Digital Radiography provides speed, efficiency, and a streamlined workflow to meet diverse needs, including support for off-site diagnosis and emergency care.

Canon's LANMIT Technology
LANMIT TechnologyThe CXDI-60G detector features an expansive dynamic range with state-of-the-art LANMIT (Large Area New-MIS Sensor and TFT) technology to achieve high-quality diagnostic images.  The core technology in all Canon Digital Radiography Systems is Amorphous Silicon (a-Si) Flat Panel Sensor (LANMIT®), which consists of a precision amorphous silicon metal-insulator semiconductor (MIS) sensor and Thin Film Transistor (TFT) array.

Enhanced Productivity & Program Imaging Mode
Program Imaging Mode for Canon CXDI Digital Radiography control software with DICOM Modality Worklist assists in optimizing workflow in the imaging suite.  This high performance solution utilizes the Procedure Code ID from the RIS to configure the exam on the CXDI Digital Radiography System.  Use of the Program Imaging Mode eliminates many of the steps required to perform patient exams, including the automatic assignment of accession numbers in multi-accession exams and reduction of errors that may be caused during multi-step processes.  Program Imaging Mode is a solution for busy imaging departments with student, new-hire, and per diem technologists, enabling them to follow department-specific imaging protocols easily.

Printers and Projectors
If your imaging requirements include color or black-and-white prints in a variety of sizes, Canon printers offer the perfect blend of print quality, easy-of-use, speed, and cost-effective operation.  For teaching facilities and conference rooms, Canon's high quality projectors provide LCOS (liquid crystal on silicon) technology, which is engineered to provide exceptional color, intricate details, and easy-to-read type.
