HP Pavilion a6050e CTO Desktop PC

The HP Pavilion a6050e, which features AMD Athlon 64 X2 dual-core processors, has the brains and the brawn to tackle some of your most demanding tasks without breaking a sweat.

Choose the best operating system for you
Get things done, stay connected, and enjoy a variety of entertainment in a secure environment with Windows Vista. This series comes with Vista Home Premium, which includes Windows Aero, Windows Media Center, and instant search functionality.

Dual-core technology
Each a6050e has AMD Athlon 64 X2 dual-core technology for awesome multitasking. Dual-core processors contain two processing cores—residing on one chip—that perform calculations on two streams of data, thereby increasing efficiency and speed while running multiple programs and next-generation software.

State-of-the-art disc labeling
The optional HP DVD writer with HP LightScribe technology lets you burn professional-looking labels straight from your PC, right onto LightScribe-enabled media. After burning a disc, you just flip and reinsert it in the same drive for labeling; there's no need to print, align, or attach a sticker.

Super visuals
The a6050e offers plenty of options for graphics cards. For the performance and features you need to play the latest games and enjoy home-theater-quality video, choose the Nvidia GeForce 7500 LE graphics. Featuring 256MB of dedicated video memory (up to 512MB of total video memory), they deliver ultrarealistic gaming and stunning, high-definition video.

More hard drive space
The a6050e offers 7200 rpm Serial ATA hard drives in sizes up to 400GB, so you can always have enough hard drive space to keep all your pictures, music, videos, and other applications.

Mini personal media drive
The optional HP Pocket Media Drive lets you store, share, and transport all your files, music, video, and photos. It docks in its own built-in bay on select HP and Compaq desktop PCs, or you can use it via a standard USB connection. There's no separate power supply, so it's quiet and cool.
