Right from the start, the CY-AC300 comes with built-in 5.1 channel Dolby Digital® and DTS® decoders--the essential keys to theater surround sound in your car. A Dolby Pro Logic® decoder is also included so you can enjoy surround sound from a regular stereo source.

Sound Field Simulation by DSP
Lets you add the ambience of a music hall, disco, stadium or other venue to your 2-channel stereo sources (TV, VTR and FM). You can also distribute a 2-channel audio signal to all connected speakers by selecting the MULTI-CH effect, one of the eight available choices. In addition to analog stereo sources, these DSP effects are designed to work with 2-channel recordings on DVD (linear PCM, Dolby Digital® or DTS® format) or CD. However, they will not work with 2-channel downmixes from Dolby Surround format or multi-channel recordings.
