For corporate reprographic departments, print-for-pays, and design firms, the CLC 5100 is a workhorse production engine that delivers exceptional image quality at a robust 51 pages per minute. These environments will benefit from the CLC 5100's improved handling of heavy and coated media (close to 100 % faster than previous CLC models!) and its new standard 3,500-sheet Paper Deck-R1, which handles media up to 253 gsm as large as 12" x 18." Professional finishing options include the Nagel Finisher for inline creation of saddle-stitched and trimmed booklets and High-capacity TS-100 for easy transfer to offline finishing devices.

A host of new connectivity functionality includes real time job tracking, mixed media output sets, scale to fit imaging, and an enhanced Command WorkStation 4.1 or new LE 4.0 version for Macintosh. Advanced color controls within the optional Fiery Graphic Arts Package include Spot-On color matching, Auto Trapping, unlimited separations, and Hot Folders to simplify workflow. For users seeking to generate customized documents, ColorPASS servers support Fiery FreeForm 2 as well as PPML.

The new 3,500 sheet Paper Deck-R1 answers your production customer's needs, with the ability to handle heavier (up to 253 gsm simplex, 163gsm duplex) and larger (up to 12 x 18) media directly from the paper deck.
Air Assist technology is incoporated into the Paper Deck-R1, increasing reliability in paper feeding and reducing friction that causes jamming and artifacts.
Canon's Finer, Brighter Toner enables the CLC 5100 to yield one of the widest color ranges in its class.
Through Canon's Automatic Image Refinement technology, the CLC 5100 boosts text and graphics to the visual equivalent of 800x400 dpi, giving your output the sharpest detail possible.
The optional Recirculating Document Feeder accommodates up to 100 sheets of letter, letter-R, or statement originals, or 50 pages of ledger or legal paper (from 17 lb. to 32 lb.)
