Pioneer PRS-D2000SPL Premier Competition-Level SPL Class D Mono Amplifier

The “No-Hold-Barred” Amplifier — Use Them with the Premier SPL Subwoofers
This is SERIOUS amplification. Engineered to produce power that pulls no punches, the new Premier PRS-D2000SPL is a competition-class amplifier that delivers massive yet efficient power, thanks to its Class D technology. If you really want to go over the top, you can externally bridge 2 amps together, and get the massive power required for big SPL competitions (over 8,000 watts max when externally bridged). The PRS-D2000SPL is the perfect match for our TS-W3001D2/4 subwoofer, and together they can produce monstrously powerful music. This amp is 1-ohm mono stable, and its subsonic filter helps to optimize your subs.

Externally Bridgeable
The units are externally bridgeable and permit two separate amplifiers to be joined together as one, doubling the power to a single woofer or voice coil. That's over 4000 Watts RMS (8000 peak!) with the PRS-D2000SPL, ideal for driving the TS-W3001D2/4 in serious SPL competition vehicles. Best of all, no special cable is required - a simple RCA cable and proper setting of the Sync mode will get this.

Multi-Amplifier Synchronization System (MASS)
Pioneer's proprietary Multi-Amplifier Synchronization System (MASS) technology allows one amplifier (the master) to control the settings of other amplifiers when two or more amps are “strapped” together. Especially important for multi-amplified systems, this powerful Pioneer technology eliminates the need to adjust each amplifier gain separately.

Dynamic Amplifier Protection (DAP)
A specialized protection circuitry called Dynamic Amplifier Protection (DAP) has also been applied. DAP, quite simply, protects the amplifiers from failing. The amps automatically reconfigure themselves based on output signal level. Designed with the highest possible power carrying capability — also known as “low current density” — DAP ensures the utmost in unit reliability and efficiency.

Massive 1/0 Gauge Power/Ground Terminals
Big amplifiers need big power, and the PRS-D2000SPL is designed to ensure it can always perform its best. The massive terminals support wire up to 1/0 gauge.

Subsonic Filter
The subsonic filter lets you remove power-robbing frequencies below the tuning of your subwoofer/enclosure. The subsonic is set at 20Hz with a steep 24dB/Octave rolloff for optimal effect.

Variable Crossover (40~240Hz)
For added flexibility, the variable crossover lets you set the levels at which higher-frequency signals will be filtered out, so that the remaining lower-frequency signals get sent to your sub(s). Where they belong. This optimizes your system's efficiency and delivers the best possible sound quality. You can adjust it continuously between 40 to 240Hz, as well as selecting from either -18dB/Octave or -24dB/Octave rolloff, giving you the ultimate flexibility in setting up your system.

Variable Bass Boost
Bass boost gives you more control over how your music sounds. You can adjust the tuning frequency from 40 to 120Hz, as well as the level from 0 (flat) all the way to 12dB of boost.
